Customer Review: My goodness you won't be disappointed
Here's the deal... Invest in a nice lens, and learn to color balance this camera (buy the DVD that teaches you how to use it).. The things this camera can do is just amazing... and for this price it's a no brainer.... I have had the camera for over 2 years and have never been so happy with a purchase in my life.... LEARN to color balance it with a white card and learn to use the "M" mode and you will never need another camera... They say it's an amatuer camera, but we use it professionally for product shots... It's darn good and that's all there is too it... You could get the Xsi too but for the price this is more of a value... God bless you and God bless America and all of our allies... In GOD we trust!!
Customer Review: Great for travel
I love this camera!!! I noticed many people saying the same in all the comments I read, and after purchasing the camera and using it for the past 3 months I absolutely agree with them all. I LOVE this camera! Its easy to operate (especially for a beginner as myself) and light enough for people transitioning from a point-&-shoot camera. The sensor cleaning is very helpful (particularly when one travels to areas where there are a lot of dirt roads). The software that comes along with the camera kit is also easy to use and a great organizational tool. Now I need to look for a new lens, the one that comes with the kit does not have a far enough range for me, and you will definitely need more if you travel much. Cameta Camera was super fast in shipping the camera so a big thumbs up for them.

Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM AF Lens + Hoya UV Filter + Accessory Kit for Digital Rebel XT, XTi, XS, XSi, EOS 30D, 40D, 5D Digital SLR Cameras

Kit Includes:
1) Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM AF Lens
2) Hoya G Series 58mm UV Filter
3) Precision Design ET-65B Lens Hood
4) LensPen Lens Cleaning System
5) Precision Design Deluxe 6-Piece Lens & Digital SLR Camera Cleaning Kit

The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM telephoto zoom lens has been developed to meet the high-performance standards that today's photographers demand. The telephoto effect can make the picture look compressed or have excellent background blur. At the 300mm focal length, you can fill the frame with a postcard from 4.9' away. This lens is ideal for sports, portraiture, animals, etc. Improved Image Stabilizer Technology provides up to three stops of "shake" correction, and the "Mode 2" option stabilizes images while panning with a moving subject.

The Hoya Ultraviolet UV Filter absorbs ultraviolet rays that often make outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. It should be constantly fitted to a lens to provide improved clarity and color balance, as well as to provide additional protection.

The Precision Design ET-65B Lens Hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of extra impact protection.

The LensPen's unique design makes cleaning your lens fast, simple and effective. On one end, a retractable soft brush sweeps dust and loose particles away from the glass. On the other end, a special dry cleaning compound is used to gently remove fingerprints and spots.

This 6-piece cleaning kit contains a hurricane air blower, Lens Cleaning Tissue, Lens Cloth, Lens Cleaning Liquid, Brush and Cotton Swabs.
Customer Review: Canon EF 70-300
This lens kit arrived in good shape and with all the scheduled accessories. The lens is used by my wife who is a good amateur photo bug. She is very impressed with the ease of use and the clarity of the images. It works well with her Rebel XTi camera. The image stabilization works well.
Customer Review: Excellent kit!
I purchased the kit about 3 weeks ago. The lens is quite big and heavy but I was astonished by the pictures it takes. The zoom is incredible and the IS is greate. Although its not designed for macro or portraits the results were amazing. I used the lens in disney world and the performance was outstanding. I think this lens is a must in your canon back pack.
