The Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera incorporates a 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor; enhanced sensitivity up to ISO 1600; 14-bit A/D converter for incredibly smooth tones; High-ISO Noise Reduction; and a precise 9-point autofocus system. The large, 3-inch LCD monitor makes reviewing images a pleasure. The Live View feature allows you to frame shots using the LCD screen rather than the viewfinder. Canon's Integrated Self Cleaning System removes dust automatically from the sensor using ultrasonic vibration.

The Tamron 28-80mm is a terrific walk-around lens for landscapes, group shots and portraits. Superior aspherical optics provide improved image resolution throughout its zoom range.

The Tamron 70-300mm is a compact, lightweight, ultra-tele zoom that is ideal for taking pictures at a distance. This versatile lens has macro capability with a magnification of 1:2 for incredible half-lifesize close-ups.

Take more high-resolution pictures faster with this 16GB High-Capacity SecureDigital (SDHC) memory card. Card reader included!

The Precision Design 1000 Deluxe SLR Pro Carrying Case is constructed of durable Pro-Nylon. It will discreetly hold and protect your Digital SLR camera with zoom lens attached, plus 3 extra lenses, flash, and accessories.

Customer Review: Excellent update to quality camera
The Canon Rebel XSi would make a wonderful addition to any photographer's equipment. Between the quality it gives you, plus the very reasonable price as compared to other top-name brands, it's a perfect balance. If you get it with a kit, like I did, you can get everything you need to go with the camera, without spending a ton of money to get it. It's very easy to handle, even with the 70-300mm zoom lens attached, and it even comes with Adobe Photoshop software to help you fix up the shots you need to improve. Overall, it's not the top-of-the-line, but for overall value and quality, it's hard to beat.
Customer Review: Great camera
The XSi is a great camera. My only regret is trying to get more lenses for the best price. These lenses are not terrible, but they're not great. Don't expect too much from them.
